SB Events is founded in 2006 by former World Champion Sven Boekhorst. Sven started skating in the early 90’s in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. In 2000 he won every contest, which includes winning the Triple Crown (winning X-Games, Gravity Games and World Championships). In his years as a professional skater he also had a character in a videogame (Aggressive Inline), and performed three weeks in a big theatre show on Broadway, New York, with a theatre group from Amsterdam. After al the experiences from skating as a professional, Sven decided to take his career to the next level by starting SB Events. SB Events is a company that provides professional skating shows for different kind of events, adjustable to every situation. Check out the references for the shows.

 

Furthermore, SB Events is organizing their own events. Taking care of their own production. SB Events can also be used for total video coverage of an event.

Mind the Gap

Mind the Gap is an innovative demo/contest. Where skaters perform, and the crowd experiences professional rollerblading Starting from a 3.5 meter high skateramp, jumping over a gap of minimal 3.5 meters and grinding over the MTG slide bar.

 

Dutch Championships Skate

This is, with several stops through the country, the biggest skate competition in The Netherlands. Started in 2008 and expanding every year.

 

 

EC Halfpipe

European Championships Halfpipe Inline Skating are taking place in Rotterdam every year. Skaters from all over the world are competing for the big title at the Halfpipe at Westblaak skatepark.

 

 

 

Rotterdam Street Battle

A new concept of competition skating developed by SB Events for the City of Rotterdam. An annual contest at the Rotterdam Streetplaza.
